holiday stuff

hi ya'll. it's joy! i'm currently at silverbrook. we just made the exchange gift list for christmas. makes me excited to see everyone. i got into town yesterday and i've been nothing but cold and bored here since i've been back. it's a little hard to wind down from the craziness of school. i'll be here until january 5th-ish, so i have plenty of time to relax. oh, i'm also going to arizona from dec. 14th until the 18th to visit my best friend adrien, so that's exciting. i hope everyone is doing well!

anyway, i'm bored so i thought i'd share some random, recent pictures:

some of my classmates and me with my acting teacher at a christmas party she threw just recently:

Hi family!

It's Ging sitting here at work with nothing to do. My task list is very short these days, with the holidays coming up and the architects constantly being at meetings (and you can only straighten out the product sample library so many times). I was just wanting to let you all know that I will be home on the 21st of December, and will be there for tow weeks until January 6th (yay!). I'm actually flying into O'Hare airport in Chicago, where Uncle Sal will be for store business, and he, Jojo (who will be flying in from Boston), and I will drive back to Louisville together.

Ive also been keeping busy here. Did a handful of voice-overs, recorded a couple of new musicals for The Children's Theatre Company, and will possibly be in the studio again before I leave for an audio-book recording for the same company. Then there's work, auditions-though not that many right now , and lots of christmas get-togethers and outings. But, more than anything, I am anticipating being home.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday season so far - I can't wait to see you all!

It's the Holiday Season! (GING)

Hi all! It's Ging just checking in with everyone.

First of all, congrats to the Dozers on your news! I just hope I can be in Louisville sometime in the spring :)

I cannot begin to tell all of you just how excited I am to be coming home for Christmas :) It will have been a year since I last saw many of you, and, especially since I had to miss Boyet and Janice's wedding, I am really stoked about the New Years party!

I got back to the city on closing night of Saigon this past Sunday, and am going through the motions of post-show withdrawal. Fortunately, it hasn't been too bad, as I have been busy with work, auditions, and friends here to distract me the past four days. I'm also very lucky bc I've seen and/or talked to Saigon cast members everyday since I've gotten back.

Our Engineer, who was in the National tour, as well as five other productions of the show said to us that with this show in particular, once you do a production of it, you are in the Universal Saigon family, and, as cheesy as it sounds, it's true. I am so grateful to have been part of it :)

Anyhow, I am looking at flight schedules for my homecoming. I can't wait to see all of you! That's all for now...

Inday Al's brush w/ celebrities

Halloo!
First of all, congratulations Leah and Aaron, I'm so excited that you will be bringing a new member into the Lanceta & Dozer clans! Take care, Leah!

I've been having brushes with fame that I want to share with you all. I went to see Richard Thomas (who played John Boy Walton, pictured below) and he was performing Twelve Angry Men at our Opera House. As I watched the show, I remembered watching The Waltons as a family every Thursday evening. Lola used to say the Waltons were like her family, they even have a youngest Elizabeth. After the show, I waited around to meet him and to tell him how much his work on The Waltons was part of our family. Very exciting! He's very friendly and has soft hands. His family was also very nice.

Then, last week I was asked to have my students perform at a reception for Arlo Guthrie. Arlo Guthrie (pictured below) is an American folk singer/ songwriter. His father, Woody Guthrie, made "This Land is Your Land" famous in the late 40's. Diana Evans, who choreographs most of my shows, had students performing for Arlo Guthrie that night as well and is pictured with "me and Arlo". :-)

We are having a Baby Girl!!!

Aaron and I had our ultrasound today and we are having a baby girl!!! The doctor says that she looks great... Hooray :)

Holidays

Hello Everyone,
Thanksgiving is coming so fast, before we know it, it's christmas time. Then we'd be busy christmas shoooopping..... How fun would that be. But before we get busy with that, let's think of Allan in Iraq. I'm thinking of sending him a care package before christmas. Anybody that would like to send him anything just bring them to Silverbrook and we'll send it together unless you want to send them yourself. That would be fine too. But really, we are taking so many things for granted here and I know he would appreciate it to hear or receive something from the family. I have to ask Karen what she thinks he needs most but I'm sure toiletries, candies, christmas stuff would be welcome. I'll let you know more as soon as I hear from Karen. I would like to send it the first week of December.
We will have Thanksgiving lunch/dinner in Silverbrook. Everyone welcome but please call so we would know who's coming. Also, are we drawing names for christmas? Please give us your input so we can talk about it on Thanksgiving.
Our New Year's Party is in the making. It will be in the same place but haven't finalized it yet. Be thinking of who you're going to invite and let me know. That's all for now, and you all have a wonderful week.
Love,
Tita/Auntie Inday/Beth

Hi From Ging!!

Hi Family! How is everyone? Hope everyone has recovered from jetlag and morning-sickness respectively :) We are now going into the second weekend of Saigon, and I am having such a wonderful time. The cast is great - a good percentage of them, not to mention the majority of the leads are from the national tour, and I am so grateful to finally be part of this show. I go in for understudy rehearsal tomorrow afternoon, so I get to sing through the entire score for the first time - well, the first time onstage and not in my bedroom, anyway ;)

Below are some production shots . That's me in the back right-hand corner in the black dress in the second picture - they didn't put me in a bikini afterall, but they did make the front of that dress - and all of my hooker dresses for that matter - as low-cut as they possibly could. So, once again, I am the cleavage girl. Yeah.

Hope everyone is doing well! Looking forward to being home for the holidays!
Much Love!

Catching up

Greetings everyone! I haven't read the blogs lately and it was nice to catch up with everyone's posts. Roze, you were a beautiful queen! My parents and I enjoyed looking at the pics Jo posted. We're doing fine here in Pensacola. The tornados (8 touched down in the area) that struck last Thursday caused alot of property damage but no deaths. We were fortunate to have great weather for Lee's visit. They arrived Thursday afternoon and left early this morning. The weather started clearing Friday afternoon and we were able to get beachtime on Friday and Saturday. Noah and Sadie also got to meet their cousin King Louie Chumley aka Houdini. He's a cutie. Mikayla and Lucas are growing so fast! It was a great visit!

Congratulations, Leah & Aaron! We'll pray your pregnancy goes smoothly. For now, the Ohio River dive is postponed, right? ;) That's all for now. Take care and hopefully we'll see everyone for New Year's. It looks like we'll be spending Thanksgiving & Christmas here. ~Nene Lourdes

We're Home. . .

I have to say going home is always a wonderful thing to do. I met a lot of family and friends and was very surprised to see your Lola's best friend in church. She's in her 80's, still walks to church and alert as can be. She was your Lola's partner in going to church everyday and always together in any church activities. So, it brought back some memories to me. I couldn't leave without talking to her, so I waited for her and gave her some grocery money that brought tears to her eyes. I told her I feel like Nanay is telling me to do this.
I also found your Lolo's hat that I think is about 70 years old. He used wear it when he would go to the farm. I had it cleaned up and will hang it in the kitchen where everybody stays most of the time.
Roze's coronation was a success and she did look like a Queen. I have all the tapes and will show you all when you come visit Silverbrook. The fiesta celebration was so much fun. Old friends and family came and we met your Lola's only surviving male cousin (Tatay Bartol) who found out that we were there. Your Uncle Nito flew in for the festivities. We were invited to so many houses for lunch and dinner and I'm sure I've gained some weight, but food is always delicious. Our short trip to Boracay was not enough, but we did everything we could. We did the snorkeling and jet skiing and swam inside the cave.
Shopping was another thing. Their malls are bigger than ours, some are 5 stories high and our dollar goes farther, so that was fun. Bingbing (ni Alex) was our guide in Manila and again we stayed at Fernandina's Condo by Ali Mall. Our last night, we were invited to Alex's despedida party and there's so much singing and dancing.
Our stay in Duenas was so much fun. Grandchildren from Capuling came every night to do their nightly massage to us. It bonded us better with them.
Anyway, Phils. is fun, but I'm glad I'm home. We were able to finish our transactions with your Lolo's land and we have laid the foundation for our "Lanceta subdivision". We stayed in Day's Hotel in Iloilo and their Chow King restaurant that is open 24 hrs. So, Lilibeth, your Auntie Norma and I would have our halo halo at 11pm.
I'll see you all soon and get ready for a great New Year's celebration.....

Hola Familia!

Hola familia! Chris and I are finally home after a 10-day trip to Florida/Alabama. Other than the heat, we had a wonderful time with Jim, Inday, Chloe and Ethan. The kids are growing up fast...Ethan turned 4 the day we arrived (like the homemade birthday cake?), and Chloe will be 6 in about 2 weeks! Disneyworld and shopping at the outlets with them were an experience! They're so sweet! We'll be home for Christmas and possibly New Year...so, hope to see everyone then. Take care and miss you all.

Hi Everyone... It's Leah.
I just wanted to finally make the formal announcement that Aaron and I are expecting our first baby on April 6th, 2008!!! I'm finishing up my fourth month and I FINALLY feel like myself again. I don't see how people can deal with multiple pregnancies. It is horrible!!! I was nauseous for like three months straight and I never vomited. Soooo... I ended up gaining like ten pounds my first trimester. The books say you are only supposed to gain like four, so yes I am now chubby. It it worth it, though!
Aaron and I are very excited and cannot wait until we find out the gender (in four weeks!!!).
We will keep you posted.
I can't wait until everyone can see my little belly!!!

Love ya,

Leah

thoughts...

hey all,

it's joy. before i start, i want to say two things:

1. janice, i'll boycott h&m. what a terrible thing.
2. roze looked BEAUTIFUL at her coronation. i got a little teary eyed just looking at pictures. she's grown up so much. i wish i could've been there.

ok, so the real point in me writing this entry....so i'm winding down from rehearsal and i just really have to express to all of you what i'm currently feeling. sorry if this seems like a downer.

as most of you know, i'm in a show called "anon(ymous)" about a young refugee boy named anon who is trying to find his way back to his past. the story is: anon and his mother was separated during a sea storm when he was just a little boy , and the entire show is anon's journey of finally finding her. he searches for his identity and mother throughout the span of the play. i play the asian goddess "naja" who helps anon reunite with his mother.

...after all of this work on the show...i can't help but think of mommy betty every single time i'm in rehearsal. the girl who is playing anon's mother had to learn a chinese accent...and every time she sings the lullabye, i really just think of mommy and her singing to me when i had to wake up for kindergarten. "wake up, wake up, chirps the SPAH-ROW...don't you know it is TO-MAH-ROW." that's what she sang to me every morning.

i'm not quite sure how this play parallels with the story of mommy and me, but it's somewhere there. it's hard to do these rehearsals and not get sad about it. it makes me miss mommy alot.

i don't know. that's depressing, right? sorry. i just had to say it. this play means alot to me and because i have this connection with mommy through it, it means even more. it's an extremely special experience to do a show and to have memories of my family incorporated in my acting.

...anyway, that's all. i just had to say it.

here's some info on my show:

Anon(ymous) By Naomi Iizuka

A cutting-edge adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey by award winning dramatist Naomi Iizuka, Anon(ymous) tells the story of Anon, a young refugee on a journey to a new life in America. After surviving a boat wreck and being swept ashore, Anon survives one absurd situation after another by wit and instinct, offering a rich sensory exploration of the many different ways in which we search for home and identity in a multicultural America.

Boycott H&M (sorry, Joy)

Hey guys,

(It's Janice) This is my first post on a blog ever. It is so cool to be able to use this site to stay in touch!!

Congrats to Roze - I want to see pictures!!

Anyway, I wanted to share a press release with you guys since this concerns a racial discrimination lawsuit by a Filipino nurse (a friend of one of my friends) against H&M. When I heard about this incident it made me so angry that I wanted to go to H&M and yell at someone. Fortunately, the victim in question acted more calmly and decided to involve the press after her complaints to the store went unheard. (See press release below):

September 24, 2007Contact: Myron Dean Quon, Esq.AAI Legal DirectorCell: 773-865-6742Work: 773-271-0899myron@aaichicago.org
(Chicago, IL) - Asian American Institute filed a discrimination complaint with the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations, seeking redress for Frannie Richards, a Filipino American nurse who suffered anti-Asian and sex-based harassment at the Magnificent Mile H&M department store. The harassment included "mail-order bride" comments, ridicule concerning Ms. Richards' ability to understand English, as well as mocking "ching, ching, chang" noises by an H&M employee."Anti-Asian, xenophobic, and misogynist verbal attacks still happen on a daily basis," said Asian American Institute Legal Director Myron Dean Quon. "Asian American women, like Ms. Richards, should never have to deal with this type of harassment, in Chicago no less." This past month, when Ms. Richards entered H&M to go shopping for clothes, she had no idea that she would be the victim of a hostile and threatening environment. "As a registered nurse and retired U.S. Air Force Reserve Staff Sgt., I knew that I had to enforce my civil rights, for myself and other Asian American women. Because H&M refused to discipline this employee, I immediately thought of my own female relatives and friends. The workplace usage of disparaging anti-Asian slurs should require the termination of that H&M employee." Quon noted that Asian Americans should be able to visit retail establishments and other businesses without having to endure a humiliating and offensive environment. Asian American Institute will represent Ms. Richards based on her claim that H&M violated the City's Human Rights Ordinance, when the employee harassed Ms. Richards and also when in it refused her request to file a formal complaint. Chicago's anti-discrimination ordinances guard against discrimination, including anti-Asian and sex-based discrimination, when the discriminatory incident takes place in Chicago and involves employment, housing, public accommodations, credit, or bonding..

I tried to call Andrew to see if he knew the guy who made the ignorant comments since he (at least used to) work at this very same H&M but haven't been able to reach him yet.

Anway, until H&M publicly addresses this issue and fires not only the guilty employee, but changes its corporate policy to take stricter measures against this type of behavior, I refuse to shop there!!

Last Partings from Duenas

Hey! So I got coronated last Sunday. And it was pretty interesting. 30 minutes before I was supposed to be at the social hall, I was the only one ready. People starting getting on my side - I was pissed. But then during the coronation, I was on cloud nine. And then after the coronation, I was completely miserable because everyone left me sitting all by myself and I wanted to dance but I couldn't dance due to my 15lb dress. Yep. Well, me, my Nanay, and Jojo are leaving for Manila tomorrow and we will be back in the States on October 6. Can't wait to see you all. I have soooo much to talk about. Jojo took a bunch of pictures from the coronation and Boracay and will download them as soon as the connection is not like irritably slow.

Hugs and Kisses,

Roze

hi hi hi from cincinnati

hi, everyone! it's joy. after reading these last couple of posts, i miss everyone so much!

i've been here in cincinnati now for over 2 weeks, and i've been nothing but busy. my schedule is packed: monday, wednesdays and fridays i have it easy with classes from 9 am until 3 pm and then rehearsal from 6:30 until 10:30 pm. but on tuesdays and thursdays...i'm basically at school from 9 am until 10:30 pm with one break. i'm exhausted and it's only the second week of school. i guess they try to suck the life out of you senior year before you leave.

anyway, the only thing i want to report is that i'm having an amazing time in rehearsal for my play, "anon(ymous)." i'll be in rehearsal for the next month, so you'll probably hear alot about it. it's based off of "the odyssey" and i play a goddess named Naja. i'm giving my character a slight chinese and filipino accent...and here's the best part: i'm modeling her off of the aunties...mostly auntie inday. she's a smart, sassy, caring and sympathetic goddess. so i think you guys should watch it. it's a pretty amazing show. my roomate wrote all of the music and i get to play the guitar (uncle sal would be proud). the show dates are october 24th-28th. if you can make it, please come! it'll be my last big show!

here are pictures of me in rehearsal with my roomate and our guitars:

the philippines sounds amazing...roze i'm so happy for you! you MUST post pictures! i won't be back in louisville until thanksgiving, so i want to see them soon. the aunties sound like they're having a great time. i want to hear all about it when everyone gets back! oh...and tell papa to call me or mama! he hasn't contacted me at all! :( hmph. anyway, have a safe trip back. tell everyone hi and give them a big hug from me.

well, that's it for now. i miss each and every one of you every day. take care .

much love,
joy

Filipinana Parade

Today was the parade. Auntie Norma and Lilibeth took pictures. Oh yes my consort is cute and only 16, but I thwarted everyone's plans to try to get me hooked up. Well at least for today. (You should be proud of me Ging!) Everything went better than I expected. My make-up artist/hair stylist did a very good job. And yes he's agee. Daddy Roding tried last night to tell me he had come to the house and it sounded more like - "Oh Roze your make-up artist is here. He...or she...he oooh I don't if it's a he or a she, but he she is down there." lol. This morning though, some driver decided to drive past my float and knocked one of the backgrounds off. So Daddy had to get a bunch of guys to fix it. And then while I was on the float, I tried my best to wave, but the bahay kubo was sooo not power line proof and the driver couldn't really see where he was going. So basically almost every turn, I was holding a piece of bamboo in one hand (which was meant for supporting me but was literally a stick glued to the float) and my consort for dear life. Other than that, the parade was great - for one - it didn 't rain until after the parade. Well got to go for now. I'm in Uncle Elfrain's computer store. Tomorrow will be the DWAI night, and the Sunday - the procession and coronation. You all should see my coronation dress. It is amazing. I will try my best to post more stuff this week!

Your Majesty (giggle),
Roze

PHILIPPINES!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay in updates. I was under house arrest yesterday. (Joy and Inday Diutay - I can hear you scolding me) Well, let's start with the traveling. As some of you have heard, I got stopped by airport security for a bottle of face moisturizer. (oh by the way Inday Al you can use it - I've got 2 bottles here) The funny thing is that Lilibeth brought her contact lens solution which was bigger than mine, but the she asked the security guy and he proceeded in flirting with her so she got the bottle through. Lesson learned: If you want to get something through airport security - flirt with airport security. Anyways, we (Auntie Inday, Auntie Norma, Lilibeth, my Tatay, my Nanay and I) had to ride four different airplanes - during each one Auntie Inday felt like picking a fight with someone. In Detroit - some lady cut Auntie Norma waiting in line, so of course Auntie Inday gave her a piece of her mind. Then, on the flight to Nagoya, a Japanese lady sitting behind Auntie kept stretching her feet and kicking Auntie's seat. (The last thing anyone should try to do is annoy Auntie when she's tired.) Well, Auntie tried to tell her to stop but the lady repeatingly told her she wasn't doing anything. So Auntie being Auntie - whenever the Japanese lady would kick her seat she would pound on the seat. By this time, Auntie Norma had been laughing so hard that she went to the bathroom 3 times. No joke. I was sitting in front of them and they were giggling off and on throughout the 10 hour flight.

Oh and it's not over - once we got to Manila, some Filipina lady kept staring at me. Well Auntie Inday caught her and I'll just say it ended with "Lenti! Ano turok mo! If I were you Roze, I would stare at her back really hard." Just so you know the Filipina was like only 5 feet away and probably heard Auntie. Everything went well after all of this. My Tatay tried to get my Nanay to sit in a wheelchair so we all would be able to cut long lines, but my Nanay gave up, so the Aunties and my Tatay befriended another Filipina lady who was using a wheelchair and we got to each flight rather early.

Mark and Ging on the Playground

So Ging and I came down to New Jersey at Marisol's house for little Mark's 2nd birthday. Tommy had a soccer game that morning (and they WON!), and while he was out on the field, his little brother went to the playground to play with his Auntie Ging. Guess who had more fun?

EYEBROWS!

it's joy.

...so i waxed roze's eyebrows, despite her attempt to run away from me. but after i tied her down to a chair and stuck an apple in her mouth, i have to say i think i did a pretty good job.

when i was finished, roze's skin was all red from the wax, but she didn't complain. i also had a pile of used wax strips sitting on the sink and it looked like some cat had rolled around and shed its hair all over the place, but alas it was just roze's eyebrow hairs. anyway, the redness has faded a bit, the brows are clean and she looks great :)

...now she really looks like a queen! she might be turning down lots of marriage proposals when she gets to the philippines! ;)

-joy-

a bit of an update

Hey, family. Everyone has been wanting to know when I will be leaving for the Philippines. Our departure will be on the 23rd of September. I'm pretty excited. I guess I should be nervous, but it won't be probably until the day before we leave. So far - I am banned from gaining any weight and getting tanned. Joy and Auntie Inday have been chasing after my eyebrows with tweezers and wax for the past two weeks. Haha - not really, but I might have a nightmare or two about that. Yep. Right now I'm living at Silverbrook. My Tatay and Nanay are on vacation in Canada, so I've been at the store with Auntie Belle and Joy. The store's doing well. Joy and I joked yesterday that the next time Jojo or my parents call the store, Joy should tell them that everything 's fine - except Roze just got crushed by an entire shelf of Ube-flavored Otap.

Anyways, I will keep everyone updated on happenings while we are in the Philippines.

Big Bear Hugs,

Roze

Yet Another Labor Day Greeting! from Ging

Salve Famiglia! How is everyone doing? I've heard from all the pregnant peeps, and those of you who are planning to come up to the east coast to visit Marisol, Jojo, and I, but it's been a while since I've spoken to most of you :0( Hope all is lovely for everyone.

As for me, as everyone knows, I was unable to attend Boyet and Janice's wedding, but I did see all the pictures, and am absolutely heart-broken that I was basically the only one who wasn't there. I did hear the stories and am waiting with baited breath for another one of you to get engaged so that I can be at the next wedding ;0)

The show I was in at the time of the wedding went very well. We started rehearsals and went into previews in May and ran from June-July. I also got to meet a lot of great people and went to a lot of really cool events. A highlight from one of the parties would be drinking with Paolo Montalban - one of the the foremost Filipino actors on Broadway today, though most of you will remember him as the prince in the Brandy/Whitney Houston version of Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella. I had told Mama when I was fourteen that I was going to marry him, but, hey, doing a few shots with him was just as good!

Also, as most of you all know, Joy was here for over a month for her internship, which was very nice, as it's actually been a few years since the two of us have really been under one roof. We really didn't get to spend as much time together as I had anticipated, unfortunately, what with schedules, plus she arrived just as audition season started to peak, and left just as the casting started slowing down. She did have good time while she was here, as many of her friends from school were also doing internships, so she was very rarely bored ;0)

I was also just offered a part in
a production of Miss Saigon upstate covering the role of Kim and playing one of the featured bar-girls (yes a hooker). Rehearsals will begin early next month, and we will run from October 19 until November 11, so I am very excited and eager for October to get here.

And that's the past few months in a nutshell. Life is good, and I am enjoying myself very much. Hope you all are doing the same! See you in December!

Labor Day At Silverbrook!

hey, guys. it's joy. i'm currently in auntie inday's room as auntie is brushing her teeth and auntie norms, my mama, papa, auntie belle, uncle rol, lilibeth, roze, cristopher, chelsea and connor are in the kitchen eating the labor day feast. the family did a last-minute lunch for auntie belle and my arrival, and also for bing's birthday (which is tomorrow, sept. 5th. happy birthday, bing!)

anyway, auntie norms made ribs, lilibeth made tenola, auntie belle made pancit and uncle rol made mongo. it was a nice, hardy meal.

now, we're letting our stomachs settle and auntie inds just left for work. below are pictures of neng's three kids that i took with my camera phone:

i'm going back to cinci on sept. 12th, the day after my mama's birthday, and i start classes sept. 17th. i got in from new york on august 31st after a two-month internship with a casting agency. i stayed with ging and had a really amazing time. it was really nice to spend time with her and really learn new york city. it's a crazy city, and it was a good experience to be a new yorker for two months. here are some pictures:

anyway, i hope all is well with everyone. i'll keep you guys posted on things here in louisville as they come. love all of you

Happy Labor Day

Hello and Happy Labor Day, everyone! I thought I'd post something. Not much going on here... My parents went to Biloxi with the FilAm today and I opted to stay home. Don't really care for the sensory overload (smell & sound); not to mention losing money... Okay, don't laugh at my $20.00 limit at the casinos.

Anyhoo, this was an opportunity to recuperate from mowing the lawn yesterday. It took 4 hours and I finally got done at noon. The sun was scorching but I wanted to get everything done. I was worn out! My riding mower died a month ago, so I had to push the mower. Add the heat and you can call it a Tylenol Arthritis day! tee hee

Tomorrow, I plan to read Harry Potter. I started the book and haven't made it past the 1st chapter. For the fellow fans, I love JK Rowling's way with words ~ I've just been multi-tasking and somewhat ADD. ;) I'm also spoiled because I "listened" to the first 6 volumes.

Other than that, life is good. I'm still living among boxes but I love my new home! Its great to be living near my parents. This is the first time in 12 years I've had the opportunity to be close to family and have a job I enjoy. Can't beat that! Now, UK has to have an excellent basketball season and I'll be in heaven! Segue to my vanity plate story...

I went to change my plates and I was pleasantly surprised to find that UKBLUE, IM4UK, WILDCAT, YLDCAT, 1UKFAN were not available. I finally got YLD4UK! Was a bit worried but my pride in fellow UK fans had me glowing! Okay, that's all for now. Desperate Housewives & Brothers & Sisters are finished. I'll close for now. Love and miss you all! Have a gr8 and safe Labor Day! ~Nene Lourdes

First Entry

Welcome, everyone! This is the Official Lanceta Family Blogspot.

Here, everyone can post about themselves and their families. I think it's a GREAT way to keep in touch without flooding our emails and whatnot. Plus you can post pictures, links and videos on here.

I advise everyone to post and check on here as much as they can. Since the Lanceta family is spread all over the country (and world), I think this can be a really nice way of being a part of each other's daily lives.

I was telling Auntie Inday about this site and she thought it was a great idea. You can post big and little news on here. Whatever keeps us updated.

The ONLY RULE is that you sign your posts at the bottom so we know who wrote it.

Anyway, everyone enjoy. Spread the word and keep us updated on everything!!!! LOVE AND MISS ALL OF YOU.
